My name is Kayla Beene, and I am from a small town in Alabama. I truly believe that hard work and community shaped me into the person I am. My story is rooted in the belief that where you start doesn’t limit the level of success you can have in anything you choose to pursue. Every step of my journey has taught me the power of connection and purpose. Communication as a whole made my goals possible, and it continues to inspire how I lead, create, and serve others. My process is simple: stay grounded, stay curious, and never stop learning. Everything I do is driven by the hope that my story can help someone else see what’s possible for them too.

Current life update!
I’m so excited to share that I’m wrapping up my final semester at The University of Alabama, where I’ll soon be graduating with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Communication Studies. My time at UA has been filled with nothing but incredible opportunities to learn, lead, and grow — from classroom projects and internships to community outreach and campus events.
Graduation feels both surreal and exciting, and I’m beyond grateful for the people and experiences that have shaped this chapter of my life. As I take the next step, I’m looking forward to combining my love for communication, creativity, and leadership to make a meaningful impact wherever life takes me, and hopefully spend two more years as a student at this wonderful university that I have been so blessed to call home. 🐘
